Facilities

The club is fortunate in enjoying one of the finest greens in Dorset, expertly prepared by a full-time groundsman/greenkeeper. It is within easy walking distance of picturesque Wimborne town centre and has the benefits of a modern clubhouse and well stocked bar, which are used for a varied programme of social events throughout the year.

Playing Opportunities

The club offers excellent opportunities for play to bowlers of all abilities from novice to expert. Our Ladies have two teams playing in the Bournemouth & District League and they are affiliated to the Dorset League. We have two teams in the Bournemouth & District Premier League, and two men's teams in the Dorset League. We also have three mixed teams in the Bournemouth & District Saturday Triples League and four in the Bournemouth and District Tuesday evening triples league.  In addition, our over 60’s men have the opportunity to play in one of the two teams playing in the ‘Percy Baker’ Triples League. All our members are welcome to play in any of our many annual club competitions, and we have a full programme of friendly matches and a regular ‘Friday Nighters’ social bowling evening where all are welcome.
